Dolgeville topples Little Falls, 3-0

DOLGEVILLE – Taylor Brandow and Abby Mosenthin recorded eight kills apiece to lead Dolgeville to a 3-0 victory over Little Falls in Center State Conference volleyball action Thursday at Dolgeville High School.

The Lady Blue Devils (10-5 overall, 5-3 CSC) posted game scores of 25-9, 25-22 and 25-15 for the victory.

Brandow added three digs and a block to her stats, while Mosenthin added nine digs and an assist.

Courtney Rachon contributed 13 assists, five digs, five aces and four kills for Dolgeville, while Emilie Bode had seven kills and a block and Kaylee Brandow had nine digs and three aces. Courtney Normoyle chipped in with 10 assists and four aces and Cheyanne Sullivan had three kills.

Kali Yerina had six kills and four digs for Little Falls, while Kourtney Moser had three digs and two kills and Samantha Ackerman had four assists and two kills. Lauren Shepardson chipped in the four aces and five assists.

Dolgeville will play its final match of the season today at Remsen before participating in the Watertown Tournament on Saturday and the Finale Tourney Feb. 1 at Dolgeville High School.
