Two appointed to charities board

ALBANY – Sue Cridland and the Rev. Laurie Marie Garramone have been appointed to the Board of Catholic Charities of Fulton & Montgomery Counties.

Cridland, who resides in Johnstown, is currently the Director of Community Education for Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. Cridland has been in the health field for the last three decades, and received her nursing degree from the University at Albany in 1972, a news release said.

Garramone, the rector at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Johnstown, is currently a Chaplain on the board of Habitat for Humanity. Garramone is also involved with other area religious organizations, including as a member of the Albany Diocese Youth Ministry Board. She lives in Johnstown.

Catholic Charities is the human service and social justice arm of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany. Catholic Charities, a system of 15 multipurpose agencies throughout the 14 counties comprising the Albany Diocese, provides a range of services annually to nearly 100,000 families and individuals.
