Fulton County makes appointments to boards
JOHNSTOWN – The Fulton County Board of Supervisors approved numerous personnel items during its first regular meeting of the year Monday.
“Today is primarily our advisory boards and committee appointments for the year,” county Administrative Officer Jon Stead told the board.
Advisory board appointments included these Fulton County Planning Board members: Steve Cirillo, John Blackmon, Karen Smith, Robert Miller, Timothy Munn, Ryan Fagan, James Anderson, Robert Phillips, Peter Goderie and Frank Lauria as an alternate member.
Named to the county Youth Bureau advisory board were: Richard Handy, Kim Westover, Jada Diodato, Greg Mytelka, Yvonne Major, Ellen Anadio, Dorothy LaPorta, Richard Ottalagano, Denise Benton, Michael Brenno, Greta Frasier, Carolyn Darkangelo, John Baker, Molly Whitaker, Lee Hollenbeck, Robin Wentworth and Pamela Baran.
Supervisors appointed or confirmed these members to the county Ethics Board for 2014: Francis Reed, Lisa Queeney, Jason Brott, Sylvia Parker and George Manchester.
Traffic Safety Board members appointed were: Mark Yost, Cynthia Licciardi, Allan Polmateer, Daniele Mattice, Lt. David Gilbo of the Johnstown Police Department, Capt. John Sira of the Gloversville Police Department, Sgt. Luke Splittgerber of state police, Kristina Ruggeri, Anthony Reppenhagen, Matthew VanValkenburgh of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Denise Frederick, Fulton County District Attorney Louise Sira, County Coroner Margaret Luck, Ann Brennan Rhodes and Kelly Collins.
Robert Roth of Johnstown was reappointed as Fulton County’s representative to the Capital District Off-Track Betting Corp. Board of Directors. The appointment is pending confirmation by the state Racing and Wagering Board and it runs through Dec. 31.
The board appointed the county’s fire chiefs and acting fire chiefs as members of the Fulton County Fire Advisory Board for 2014.
Appointed as Board of Supervisors’ members to the Great Sacandaga Lake Advisory Council were: Gloversville 3rd Ward Supervisor Michael F. Gendron, Broadalbin Supervisor Thomas Christopher, Mayfield Supervisor Richard Argotsinger and Northampton Supervisor James Groff.
