H.S. Bowling Roundup: FFCS boys defeat Maple Hill, 27-5
JOHNSTOWN – Rob O’Kosky finished with a 204-587, leading Fonda-Fultonville to a 27-5 win over Maple Hill in a Colonial Council boys bowling match Monday at Perry Lanes.
Brandon Koons posted a 187-506 for the Braves, while Ethan Gifford added a 180-503. Lucas Squadrito finished with a 221-502 for FFCS, which finished with a 2,766-2,482 advantage in total pins.
Jeremy Busdieker posted a 231-537 for Maple Hill, while Will Leahan added a 177-462.
In the girls match, Maple Hill notched a 24-8 win over Fonda-Fultonville. Michele Conestro posted a 195-510 to lead Maple Hill.
Morgan Rauch paced Fonda-Fultonville with a 179-440, while Angelique LaFreniere added a 143-405.
Maple Hill finished with a 2,063-1,713 advantage in total pins.
Amsterdam 4, Albany 3
AMSTERDAM – Marc LaBahn rolled games of 213, 245 and 226 on his way to a 684 series, leading Amsterdam to a win over Albany on Monday at Kelly’s Imperial Bowling Center.
Joe Spagnola added a 206-551 for the Rams.
Dan Carson had a 220-624 to lead Albany, while Queone Sylvester posted a 225-570.
Albany finished with a 3,302-3,259 advantage in total pins.
