Sarah Rouse, the daughter of Beatrice Rouse of Fonda and the late Terry Rouse, was united in marriage to Maxwell Spritzer, the son of Elaine Spritzer of Gloversville and the the late Donald Spritzer, on Oct. 19, 2013.
The ceremony took place at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, Otsego County. Cooperstown Mayor Jeff Katz officiated.
The bride was escorted by her mother. The matron of honor was Kristi Beck of Hudson Falls, Washington County. The bridal attendants were Megan Lynch of Aberdeen, N.J., Vanessa Henry of Fonda, and Kristen Flint of Watervliet, Albany County.
The best men were Jordan Spritzer of Johnstown and Eliot Spritzer of Charlotte, N.C., brothers of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Joshua Loucks and Matthew VanSlyke, both of Johnstown. The ringbearers were Samuel and Benjamin Spritzer, nephews of the bridegroom.
A reception for 120 guests was held at St. Patrick’s Lodge, Johnstown.
A wedding trip to Hawaii is planned. The couple resides in Gloversville.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School and a graduate of Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She is employed as an x-ray and Magnetic Resonance Imaging technologist at Mohawk Valley Orthopedics, Amsterdam.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Johnstown High School, a graduate of FMCC, and a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta, Otsego County. He is employed in the marketing department at Stewart’s Shops Corp., Saratoga Springs.
