Jenny L. Heagle
Jenny L. (Muscato) Heagle, born Jan 25th, 1934, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning at home. Born to Thomas Muscato and Josephine Gentile-Muscato, she was the youngest child of 17 children. Jenny is the widow of George Heagle, both of whom lived the majority of their lives in Johnstown, N.Y.
Jenny had four children and was pre-deceased by her eldest son Michael Heagle, her mother Josephine, father Thomas, husband George, brother-in-law Charlie and 15 siblings.
Jenny gave birth to four children: Deborah Givis of Johnstown; Cindy Ditata of Simpsonville, S.C.; the late Michael Heagle; and son Joseph A. Heagle of Simpsonville, S.C., who she resided with the past three years. Dearly loved, mother-in-law and friend to Cyndi LaPaglia-Heagle of Simpsonville, S.C. (wife to Joseph Heagle) and Jenny’s caregiver, and Lynn Heagle of Johnstown, N.Y. Biological grandmother of Jamie Heagle-Kohout and husband Jason, Leanne Sutlif, Joshua Ditata, and Kierian Heagle. Step-grandmother to Amanda, Sierra, Kalin, and Chris. Great-grandmother to Jack and Julianna Kohout of Johnstown, N.Y. Great-step-grandmother to Wyatt of Seneca S.C. Sister-in-law and best friend to Georgiana Edwards and the late Charles Gross, both of Johnstown, N.Y.; and sister to her only remaining sibling Ida, also of Johnstown, N.Y. Friend to many. Cannon Mortuary is handling the cremation and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Final burial will be in Johnstown, N.Y., at Johnstown Cemetery.
An angel lived among us, a gift from God above. She showered us with kindness and shared with us her love. She’s gone to live with Jesus. But, she’s here with us, today, smiling down on every one of us, and telling us she’s O.K. We love and will miss you every day “Jenny Penny”!
