Sabrina Blaus, the daughter of Omars and Lisa Blaus of San Antonio, Texas, was united in marriage to Michael Pifko, the son of Carol and George Pifko Jr. of Broadalbin, at 4 p.m. Sept. 20.
The ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s Church, San Antonio. The Rev. Mario Marzoochi officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Ann Marie Cox of Astoria, Queens County.
The bridal attendants were Julie Tim of Galway and Mary Jacobs of Malta, both in Saratoga County.
The best man was Sean Mullin of Galway.
The ushers were James N. Higgins Jr. of Perth and Joshua Higgins of Arizona, cousins of the bridegroom.
A reception for 100 guests took place at the Historic Pearl Brewery, San Antonio.
A two week wedding trip took place on the islands of Maui and Kauai, Hawaii. The couple resides in San Antonio.
The bride is a graduate of Bittsburg High School, Bittsburg, Germany and attended Florida Atlantic University and North West Vista College, San Antonio. She is an operation manager for Limited Express.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School and a 2002 graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, Clinton County. He is the general manager for the Tony Roma Restaurant on San Antonio Riverwalk.
