H.S. Bowling Roundup: Gloversville blanks Glens Falls

GLOVERSVILLE – Richard Taylor rolled a 244-673, leading Gloversville to a 4-0 win over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council bowling match at Arterial Lanes on Wednesday.

Seth Weeden posted a 236-578 for the Huskies, while Nick Ferrara added a 191-527.

Dillon Trapasso paced Glens Falls with a 215-574, while Erin Ryan posted a 160-487. Travis Smith added 182-568 for the Indians.

Gloversville finished with a 3,221-2,565 edge in total pins.


Fort Plain 4, Duanesburg 0

CANAJOHARIE – Aaron Honeywell rolled a 200-499, leading Fort Plain to a sweep of Duanesburg in a Western Athletic Conference match at Iroquois Lanes.

Drew Fureno posted a 178-481 for the Hilltoppers, who finished with a 2,310-1,937 advantage in total pins.

Tyler Largeteau posted a 175-483 to lead Duanesburg.

BERNE – Alex Colby rolled a match-high 537 for Mayfield in the Panthers’ league loss.

AMSTERDAM – Billy McGaffin rolled games of 213 and 217 on his way to a 611 series, leading Amsterdam to a sweep of Catholic Central at Kelly’s Imperial Bowling Center.

Joe Spagnola posted a 201-574 for the Rams, while Brendan McGillin rolled a 200-573.

Dylan Dollock finished with a 205-599 to lead Catholic Central, while Dan Passano rolled a 205-556. Spencer Tibbits added a 206-553 for the Crusaders.
