Dolgeville volleyball loses to Cooperstown

COOPERSTOWN – McKenna Hage finished with 12 kills, three aces and two blocks, leading Cooperstown to a 3-2 win over Dolgeville in a Center State Conference volleyball match Wednesday.

The Hawkeyes won by scores of 25-21, 25-23, 19-25, 25-27 and 26-24.

Brooke Liner posted 11 kills, two aces and two assists for Cooperstown (6-0 overall, 2-0 CSC), while Caroline Leonard had 14 kills and five aces. Kristin Ratliff posted 20 assists and three kills for the Hawkeyes, while Katie Franck added 22 assists, four aces and three kills.

Taylor Brandow had 16 kills and 13 digs to lead Dolgeville (2-3 overall, 1-2 CSC), while Courtney Rachon posted 14 digs, 12 assists, nine kills and three aces. Courtney Normoyle had 17 assists, 10 digs and five aces for the Blue Devils, and Emilie Bode finished with 10 kills, seven digs and three blocks. Mikey Rubas added 16 digs, four aces and four kills for Dolgeville, Kaylee Brandow had 19 digs and five aces, and Katie Millard added 14 digs.
