AHS swim team tops Albany, 91-80

AMSTERDAM – Kristian Santos and Reyers Brusoe each won two events, leading Amsterdam to a win over Albany in a boys swim meet Friday at Lynch Literacy Academy.

Santos won the 1-meter diving competition and the 100-yard freestyle for the Rams, while Brusoe won the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke.

Mike Valenti won the 200 individual medley for the Rams, who also won the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays.

Kevin Boisseau won the 100 backstroke and 500 freestyle for Albany, while Pierce Dias Carlson (50 freestyle) and Stelios Moisidis (200 freestyle) also posted wins.

The Falcons also won the 400 freestyle relay.
