Olivia Brianne Mosconi, the daughter of Robert and Gail Mosconi of Tribes Hill, was united in marriage to Brian Mark Barnett of Amsterdam, the son of Raymond and Lydia Barnett of Amsterdam, on August 7.
The ceremony took place in Negril, Jamaica. A ceremony also took place at St. Mary’s Church, Amsterdam.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The matron of honor was Kasey Aiken of Tribes Hill, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Samantha Gallup of Broadalbin, sister of the bride; Natalie Mosconi of Tribes Hill, sister of the bride; Lauren Barnett of Amsterdam, sister of the bridegroom, and Katie Barnett of Amsterdam. The flower girls were Rylan Aiken of Tribes Hill, niece of the bride, and Carmella Barnett of Amsterdam, niece of the bridegroom.
The best man was Matthew Barnett, of Amsterdam, brother of the bridegroom. The ushers were Raymond Barnett Junior of Albany, brother of the bridegroom; Timothy Barnett of South Carolina, brother of the bridegroom; Russell Aiken of Tribes Hill, Justin Crawford of Amsterdam and Gregory Hammond of Wyoming. The ringbearers were Noah Aiken of Tribes Hill, nephew of the bride, and Camden Gallup of Broadalbin, nephew of the bride.
A reception for 130 guests took place at the Edison Club in Rexford.
The couple resides in Amsterdam.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School, a 2009 graduate of Utica College and a 2011 graduate of University at Albany. She is a Head Start teacher with Fulmont Community Action Agency.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Amsterdam High School and a 2009 graduate of Hudson Valley Community College. He is a licensed funeral director with Betz, Rossi, Bellinger and Stewart Family Funeral Home.
