FFCS bowlers swept in opener

RAVENA – The Fonda-Fultonville boys and girls bowling teams lost to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk in the season openers for both teams Tuesday.

In the boys match, Ravena posted a 26 1/2-5 1/2 win over FFCS.

Josh Galusha posted a 266-658 to lead RCS, while Mike Hotaling rolled a 246-637. Nick Bush finished with a 532 series for the Indians, while Trevor Williams added a 518.

Rob O’Kosky posted a 191-542 to lead FFCS, while Lucas Squadrito added a 202-509.

Ravena finished with a 3,385-3,825 advantage in total pins.

In the girls match, Ravena notched a 31-1 win over the Lady Braves.

Jen Nunziato led RCS with a 204-470. Ravena finished with a 2,548-1,917 advantage in total pins. Taylor Heinze added a 169-468 for RCS.

Morgan Rauch led Fonda-Fultonville with a 176-373, while Cheyanne Harding posted a 149-370.
