Aide accused of credit card theft

GLOVERSVILLE -A Northville woman who served as a personal care aide for the Getman Home was charged with grand larceny Saturday after being accused of taking a resident’s credit card and using it, police said.

Christina L. Gray, 26, of 88 Johnson Road, Northville, was arrested by city police and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Police said the administrator of the Getman Home contacted police about a small amount of cash missing from one of the residents of the home.

An investigation revealed Gray, who was employed at the home as an aide, had stolen the resident’s credit card and used it to buy items for herself at Walmart, authorities said.

She turned herself in at the station and was arraigned before City Court Judge Joan Antonik and sent to the Fulton County Jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
