Girls Soccer Roundup: Canajoharie wins Maple Hill Tournament
SCHODACK – Jenelle Dillenbeck scored the game’s only goal with 5:23 to play, lifting the Canajoharie girls soccer team to a 1-0 win over Cambridge in the championship game of the Maple Hill Tournament.
Morgan Gray assisted on the goal for the Lady Cougars, who improved to 12-3 overall.
Lauren Balfe made 12 saves to post the shutout win in goal for Canajoharie.
Courtney Davis made 11 saves for Cambridge.
Dillenbeck was named the offensive player of the tournament.
In the consolation game, host Maple Hill defeated Albany, 3-1.
Sarah Friess had two goals and an assist for the Wildcats, while Stefanie Wood also scored.
Amanda Kern added an assist for Maple Hill (5-7-1 overall).
Adrianna Guidetti scored the lone goal for Albany on an assist from Mollie Kather.
Anna Pulver made two saves for Maple Hill, while Emily Andrews made seven stops for Albany (1-10-1 overall).

DUANESBURG – Seana Cleveland and Caroline Krohn scored to lead Schoharie to a win over Duanesburg.
Nicole Cassale made 10 saves for Duanesburg, while Sydney Stanley had one save for Schoharie.
