Letter on health law missed the mark

Your editorial published Oct. 2 was spot on. It was Mr. Preuninger’s letter published Tuesday that was full of distortions and misrepresentations. Here are a few examples.

He says millions of Americans are denied basic health care. I recommend he research Medicaid and Medicare. The letter indicates John Boehner and Ted Cruz are members of the House of Representatives when Cruz is a U.S. senator.

He was correct when he said the Affordable Care Act is a law, but fails to mention Justice John Roberts changed the ACA to make it constitutional and President Barack Obama changed the law more than 14 times; both are illegal and unconstitutional. Only Congress can make or change laws.

This whole law is based on untruths, such as cost to individuals, cost to government, keeping your present insurance, keeping your own doctor, etc.

I can go on and on, but I believe I have made my point.
