Road rage incident led to charges: police
FONDA- State police said a Gloversville man was charged Monday after a road-rage incident Monday.
Pete W. Morse, 47, of Gloversville was charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Troopers said Morse was involved in a road-rage incident on Route 30A in the village.
According to state police Zone Sgt. Mark O’Conner, a trooper saw Morse drive erratically and make an obscene gesture toward a commuter bus. O’Conner said Morse told the trooper he was angry the commuter bus failed to use a turn signal.
Police said a trooper noticed an odor of alcohol from the breath of Morse. Sobriety tests were administered and Morse was charged. State police said Morse’s blood-alcohol content was 0.06 percent.
Morse was released with tickets.
