Girls Soccer Roundup: Canajoharie rolls past Sharon Springs, 11-0

SHARON SPRINGS – Jenelle Dillenbeck finished with three goals and two assists, powering Canajoharie to an 11-0 victory over Sharon Springs in a Western Athletic Conference girls soccer contest Wednesday.

Jordyn Logan scored three goals for the Lady Cougars, while Ariannah Logan had a goal and an assist. Lauren Balfe, Morgan Gray, Brittany Pitonza and Paige Shovelton also scored for Canajoharie (9-2 overall, 8-1 WAC).

Brianna Slater and Grace Corrigan each had two assists for the Lady Cougars, while Andrea Dingman, Morgan Koelbl and Jordan Hammons each had one assist.

Samantha Jackson and Kara VanArsdal combined to make 15 saves for Sharon Springs (1-8 overall, 1-5 WAC).

Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville 5, Fort Plain 0

FORT PLAIN – Jessica Hagadorn finished with two goals, leading Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville to a win over Fort Plain.

Hannah Taylor had a goal and two assists for the Lady Wolves (8-3-1 overall, 7-2 WAC), while Rylie Smith and Tabea Salzmann also scored.

Galway 4, Mayfield 1

GALWAY?- Erica Chase scored twice, lifting Galway to a win over Mayfield.

Siramar Roman and Felicia Snyder also scored for the Golden Eagles, while Amy South added an assist.

Julie Hampton scored the lone goal for Mayfield (0-10 overall, 0-8 WAC).

Lindsey Naughton made 13 saves for Galway (5-4 WAC).

Maria Messina and Megan Frasier combined to make 13 saves for the Lady Panthers.

Northville 3, Berne-Knox-Westerlo 1

BERNE – Tessa Hadland, Charlotte Kalkbrenner and Veronica Arceri scored to lead Northville to a win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Delaney Martin scored the lone goal for Berne-Knox-Westerlo (2-5-1 WAC).

Northville improved to 5-6 overall and 5-4 in Western Athletic Conference play.

Schoharie 6, Middleburgh 3

MIDDLEBURGH – Seana Cleveland scored three goals, leading Schoharie to a win over Middleburgh.

Carolyn Krohn finished with two goals and two assists for the Indians, while McKenzie Phelan also scored.

Lauren Archer had two assists for Schoharie (8-0 WAC), while Moriah Bachanas had one assist.

Amanda Roney finished with two goals and an assist for Middleburgh (4-3 WAC), while Taylor Cater also scored. Aleesha LeRuiz had an assist for the Knights.

Sydney Stanley made five saves to earn the win in goal for Schoharie.

Kiera Morgan made 10 stops for Middleburgh.

Mekeel Christian 2, Duanesburg 0

SCOTIA – Macie Holmes scored twice to lead Mekeel Christian Academy to a shutout win over Duanesburg.

Rebekkah Dean made five saves to earn the shutout win in goal for the Lady Lions (5-2-1 WAC).

Nicole Cassale finished with three stops for Duanesburg (4-4-1 WAC).
