Girls Tennis Roundup: AHS wins Big 10 title

AMSTERDAM – The Amsterdam girls tennis team claimed its 18th straight Big 10 title with a 9-0 win over Albany on Tuesday at Amsterdam High School.

The Lady Rams also extended their Big 10 win streak to 180 matches after going a perfect 10-0 in league play this season.

Aubrey Flint, Ella Dybas, Arizona Santiago, Caitlin Gannon, Gabby DiSalvi and Tessa Filiberto all won singles matches for Amsterdam (14-2 overall).

Prabha Singh and Molly Monge won at No.1 doubles for the Lady Rams, while Madison Janetsky and Gianna Quatrini won at No. 2 doubles.

Brooke Dado and Amber Richardson added a win at No. 3 doubles for Amsterdam.

Angelee Smith and Victoria Baker won singles matches for Johnstown.
