Lisa Ginsburg, the daughter of Barry and Gail Ginsburg of West Palm Beach, Fla., was united in marriage to Jonathan Battisti, the son of Chris and John Battisti of Johnstown, N.Y., on Dec. 2, 2012.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Century House in Latham. The ceremony was performed by Judge Stephen Safranko, a family friend, and was blessed by both Rabbi Scott Shpeen and Father Dan Quinn, also longtime family friends.
The matron of honor was Amy Ginsburg, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were: Maria Battisti, Melanie Wettan, Jeannine Katchmar, Crystal Waters, Jessica Pastore and Lindsey Boyle.
The best man was Matthew Battisti, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Rich Davis, Ben Polidore, Tim McGuire, Jon Mars, Brad Hamm, Matt Lutchen and Matt Hilbert. The flower girl and ring bearer were Sidney and Toby Weiss.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Bethlehem Central School, received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Russell Sage College in 2006, and graduated from Sage Graduate School in 2009 with a master’s degree in applied nutrition. She is employed as a registered dietitian at Community Care Physicians in Latham.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of the Greater Johnstown School District and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Union College in Schenectady. He is employed in the Wind Energy Division of General Electric in Schenectady.
A wedding trip took place in Puerto Rico. The couple lives in Guilderland.
