Boys Soccer Roundup: Fonda-Fultonville slips to 1-5 overall

ALBANY – Dami Osofisan scored four goals to lead Albany Academy to a 10-0 win over Fonda-Fultonville in a Colonial Council boys soccer contest Tuesday.

Manny Gomez, Jordan Lockridge, Liam Maloy, Dylan McRoberts, Billy Melchionni and Sean Dempsey also scored goals for Albany Academy, which outshot Fonda-Fultonville 26-6.

Max Flatow made two saves to earn the shutout win in goal for the Cadets.

Tyler Folmsbee and Tyler Weaver combined to make nine saves for Fonda-Fultonville (1-5 overall, 1-5 Colonial).

The Braves are slated to host Voorheesville on?Thursday at 4:15 p.m.


Fort Plain 2, Duanesburg 1

DUANESBURG – William Logan scored twice for Fort Plain in a Western?Athletic Conference win over Duanesburg on Monday.

Mikkel Roade scored the lone goal for Duanesburg (0-4-2 overall, 0-3-2 WAC).

Fort Plain improved to 2-5 overall and 2-5 in Western Athletic Conference play with the win.

Wells 6, Minerva-Newcomb 3

WELLS – Stephen Raymond finished with three goals and an assist, leading Wells to a win over Minerva-Newcomb on Thursday.

Kenny Chicoski and Matt Michienzi each had a goal and an assist for Wells (5-0 overall, 5-0 NSL), while Seth Weaver also scored. David Foster added an assist for the Indians, who led 5-1 at the half.

Steven Tomlinson played a solid defensive game for Wells.

Caleb Helms had a goal and an assist for Minerva-Newcomb. Baghan Karaali and Trevor Molton also scored for Minerva-Newcomb.

Mickey Johnson added an assist for the Mountaineers.

Ben Brenan made 10 saves for Wells, while Alex Ruzbacki made 12 stops for Minerva-Newcomb.
