Man accused of stealing narcotics from hospital

GLOVERSVILLE – A city man was charged Sunday after allegedly stealing vials of narcotics from Nathan Littauer Hospital.

Todd G. Plummer, 23, of 69 S. Judson St., was charged by city police with third-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, police said.

Capt. John Sira said Plummer was visiting someone in the hospital’s maternity ward. Sira said Plummer got into the maternity ward’s surgery room and found a sharps container. According to Sira, Plummer took the container into a bathroom and removed several vials of various narcotics, including morphine.
