Sir Bills fall to 0-3

SCOTIA – Ramair Brown rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns, leading Scotia-Glenville to a 42-13 win over Johnstown in a Class B West Division football contest Friday.

Brown scored on runs of 19 and 51 yards in the first half as Scotia-Glenville led 21-7 at the half.

The Tartans (1-2 overall, 1-2 Class B West) outscored the Sir Bills 21-6 in the second half to pull away for the win.

Dan Zeglen scored on a 63-yard run for Scotia-Glenville, and threw a 42-yard touchdown pass to Jon Clark and an 8-yard touchdown pass to Ira Pinney.

Mike Mushaw added a 33-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to cap the Tartans’ scoring.

Adam Caputo scored on a 20-yard pass from Matt Szurek in the first quarter for Johnstown (0-3 overall, 0-3 Class B West).

Steve Forker added a 10-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for the Sir Bills.

Johnstown is scheduled to host Glens Falls next Friday at 7 p.m.
