Senior planner leaving position
FONDA – Montgomery County’s Senior Planner Doug Greene will leave his job on Friday.
Greene sent in a letter of resignation Sept. 3. He accepted a new position as the city planner in Auburn, Maine.
At Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Chairman John Thayer thanked Greene for his hard work.
Greene thanked the board for being able to work in the county for the last seven years.
“It’s given me a lot of good opportunities to work on a lot of real interesting projects and I appreciate that. Best of luck to all of you,” he said.
Thayer said the board will soon be looking for a new senior planner.
