Boys Soccer Roundup: Hudson Falls tops Johnstown, 2-0
HUDSON FALLS – Jerald Kilmartin II and Brody McGuire each had a goal and an assist to lead Hudson Falls to a 2-0 win over Johnstown in a Foothills Council boys soccer game Tuesday.
It was the Tigers’ first Foothills Council victory since 2006.
Kyle Rich made six saves to earn the shutout win in goal for Hudson Falls (1-5 overall, 1-4 Foothills).
Andy Camarra made 10 saves for Johnstown (1-5-1 overall, 1-4 Foothills).
Troy 4, Amsterdam 1
AMSTERDAM – Adam Karrstad scored four goals, leading Troy to a win over Amsterdam at Lynch Literacy Academy.
Greyson Mullins scored the lone goal for Amsterdam on an assist from Jared Gallup.
The Rams slipped to 0-2-1 overall and 0-2-1 in Big 10 play with the loss.

Wells 4, Johnsburg 2
JOHNSBURG – Ken Chicoski scored three goals and had an assist to lead Wells to a win over Johnsburg.
The Indians scored all four of their goals in the first half on their way to their fourth win in as many games.
Stephen Raymond had a goal and an assist for Wells. Seth Weaver added an assist for the Indians.
Austin Washburn and Mark Cleveland scored for Johnsburg (0-3 overall, 0-3 NSL), while Aaron Conlon added an assist.
Ben Brenan made 10 saves to earn the win in goal for Wells.
Ty Berg had nine saves for Johnsburg.
