Board meeting tonight at library
GLOVERSVILLE – The Board of Trustees of the Gloversville Public Library is scheduled to meet today at 6:30 p.m. at the library.
Other scheduled events at the library include:
- A technology class is set for Wednesday.
Michael V. Daly, public service librarian at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, will present a class about iPhones. The class will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the library’s reading room.
The class size will be limited.
- The Jolly Readers book discussion is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday. The group will discuss “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini.
People also can pick up a copy of “Incendiary” by Chris Cleave for the Oct. 16 book discussion.
- The Friends of the Gloversville Public Library will host its weekly story time Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Carnegie Room.
Linda Stevens will be the featured storyteller for this story time program.
Story time is for children ages 2 and older, accompanied by an adult.
