Girls Soccer Roundup: Dolgeville ties Frankfort-Schuyler

DOLGEVILLE – Sarah George had a goal and two assists as the Dolgeville girls soccer team played Frankfort-Schuyler to a 3-3 draw Saturday.

Emilie Lewandowski and Joslin Null also scored for Dolgeville (1-2-1 overall, 0-0-1 CSC).

Danielle Migliore, Simone Palumbo and Alexis Bianchi scored for Frankfort-Schuyler.

Morgan Randall and Katie Millard combined to make 13 saves for the Blue Devils.

Cassandra Grippe made five saves for Frankfort-Schuyler.

Schoharie Tournament

Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville 8, Unatego 4

SCHOHARIE – Lexi Romeyn, Rylie Smith and Skyler Viveros all scored two goals to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah to a win over Unatego in the opening round of the Schoharie Tournament.

Addie Brundage had a goal and an assist for the Lady Wolves, while Abby Mosher also scored. Jessi Hagadorn added an assist for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (3-2 overall).

Emily Slawson scored twice to lead Unatego, while Tanner Reed and Mary Rommer each scored once.

Leann Clark made 11 saves for the Lady Wolves, while Megan Faulkner made nine stops for Unatego.

Schoharie defeated Duanesburg, 4-0, in the other first-round contest Saturday.

Schoharie at Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville will meet in the championship game next Saturday.


Galway 7, Mayfield 0

MAYFIELD – Erica Chase finished with four goals and two assists, leading Galway to a shutout win over Mayfield.

Molly Mancini, Haleigh Podrazik and Siramar Roman also scored for Galway, which finished with a 16-6 edge in shots.

Mayfield slipped to 0-3 overall with the loss.
