Pearl M. Glover

Mrs. Pearl M. Glover, 92, formerly of Gloversville, passed away on Saturday morning, August 31, 2013, at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam, surrounded by her family.

Born May 20, 1921, in Gloversville, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Elnora (Chatterton) Allen.

She was a devoted and loving wife of Frank R.Glover for 66 years, until he passed away on February 22, 2012.

Pearl was a homemaker and neighborhood mom. She was also employed at Park Terrace School in Gloversville, where she worked in the cafeteria.

She was mother to Cosette Lotz (Mead), Georgiana Littrell (Rollie, now deceased), Francine Glover (now deceased) and Frank Glover, Jr. (Karen); grandmother to Veronica Barber (Trevor), Rachel Nicolella (Robert Smith), Damian Croucher (Melissa), Andrew Nicolella (Jennifer), Brittney and Carly Glover; great-grandmother to Alexis Barber, Jackson and Keegan Croucher, Sammy and Peyton Nicolella, Brandon and Haley Fraiser.

Besides her husband and daughter, Pearl was predeceased by her brothers, Garth, Tim and Calvin Allen; and a sister, Inez Boak.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. R. W. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
