JOHNSTOWN – Chris Geleta carded a 36 to lead Johnstown to a 152-175 win over Hudson Falls in a Foothills Council match at Fox Run Golf Club.

Richie Lee posted a 37 for the Sir Bills, while Alec Hornidge carded a 38. Ben Wager added a 41 for Johnstown.

Wyatt Gorham led Hudson Falls with a 35, while Derreck Crandall finished with a 44. Justin VanNess and Devin Burch each carded rounds of 48 for the Tigers.

GLOVERSVILLE – Josh Fonda posted a 35 to lead Gloversville to a Foothills Council win over South Glens Falls at Pine Brook Golf Club.

Anthony Ponticello finished with a 45 for the Huskies, while Kyle Johnston registered a 48. Justin Putnam added a 51 for Gloversville (2-2 Foothills).

Clark Leonelli led South Glens Falls with a 37, while Ryan Mahardy and A.J. Harper each finished with rounds of 50. Andrew Peterson added a 51 for the Bulldogs.

Queensbury 151,

Broadalbin-Perth 160

VAIL MILLS – Colin Gaunt carded a 33 to lead Queensbury to a 151-160 win over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council golf match Friday at Holland Meadows Golf Course.

Alex Hearley posted a 35 for the Spartans (4-1 Foothills), while Alex Kinney finished with a 39. Riley Kain added a 44 for Queensbury.

Brett Getman led Broadalbin-Perth with a 34, while Alex Bond carded a 39. Sean Craig poasted a 43 for B-P (2-3 overall, 1-3 Foothills), while Noah Scott had a 44.


Berne-Knox-Westerlo 9, Northville-Mayfield 6

Northville-Mayfield 9, Schoharie 6

NORTHVILLE – The Northville-Mayfield golf team split matches with Schoharie and Berne-Knox-Westerlo on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, Northville-Mayfield posted a 9-6 win over Schoharie at Sacandaga Golf Club. Jordon Fordyce paced Northville-Mayfield with a 40, while Frank Coulter added a 42.

On Thursday, Berne-Knox-Westerlo defeated Northville-Mayfield, 9-6, at Sycamore Golf Club.

C.J. North led Berne-Knox-Westerlo with a 46.

Fordyce carded a 45 to lead Northville-Mayfield, while Gavon Winn posted a 46.

CANAJOHARIE – Isiah Empie posted a 50 to lead Fort Plain to a win over Galway in a Western Athletic Conference match at Canajoharie Country Club on Thursday.
