Broadalbin sets traffic-law hearing
BROADALBIN – The village Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing Sept. 17 on an amendment to the traffic law to limit heavy vehicles on some streets.
The hearing will take place at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 16 W. Main St.
The proposed law would exclude vehicles heavier than 7 tons from South Second Avenue from West Main Street to Route 29, and all of Saratoga Avenue, Bridge Street and East Broad Street, except for pickup and delivery of materials on the streets, a news release said.
Copies of the law are available at the clerk’s office for review and distribution, the news release said.
