Meghan Dailey, granddaughter of Francis Thomas II and Carol Dwyer of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Nathaniel Elcoate Lords, son of Timothy and Deborah Lords of Vicenza, Italy, in Honolulu, Hawaii, on June 25, 2013.
The bride is the daughter of the late Carol B. Dwyer II of Johnstown and Michael Dailey of Ferndale, Mich.
A private ceremony was officiated by Allene Suemori.
A formal reception is being planned to take place at a later date in New York.
The maid of honor will be Courtney Batty of Johnstown.
The best man will be Justin Kelly of Jamestown, N.C.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of the University at Albany with bachelor of arts degree. She will attend the graduate writing program at Sarah Lawrence College in the fall to pursue a master’s degree in creative nonfiction writing.
The bridegroom was born in Yokosuka, Japan, and is a 2005 graduate of Earnest J. King High School in Japan. He actively serves in the U.S. Navy and is stationed at the Naval Submarine Support Command in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, for the USS Bremerton.
