Benefit for Cinelli planned Saturday
GLOVERSVILLE – A benefit for Pete Cinelli will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at DeVoe Park, 283 Willie Road, off Route 29.
On Oct. 28, Cinelli suffered a brain aneurysm that nearly took is life, according to a news release.
“The committee for the benefit would ask that all who know him as a friend, former classmate, coworker at Lexington, family or fellow community member, come out in support of Cinelli’s recovery effort,” organizers said in a news release.
There will be a 50-50 raffle, a Chinese auction, a raffle drawing for a Radisson canoe, music, food and refreshments.
The cost to attend will be $10. Children younger than 10 will be admitted free.
Tickets can be purchased at Thomas’ Hallmark, Johnstown; and Kingsboro Lumber, Kingsboro Golf Course and Reliable Auto Parts & Hardware, all in Gloversville.
