Gratifying to see grads
On June 22, I attended the graduation of the Gloversville High?School Class of 2013. I want to congratulate the administrators, the Board of Education, the teachers and the organizers for an outstanding ceremony.
Sitting in the audience, I observed well-behaved, respectful and attentive graduates, and also respectful parents, relatives and friends of the graduates. Every speaker was well spoken and had the attention of the audience throughout the entire ceremony. The valedictorian and salutatorian gave extremely well-composed speeches that were inspiring and very relatable.
I felt proud to observe this and also proud of the 18 of my former second-grade students from Boulevard Elementary School, not to mention that two of my former second-graders were also in the top 10. It was a great feeling knowing that I had a small part in contributing to the success of these 18 graduates.
May success continue to accompany them and their classmates in their future endeavors.
