Jacob Heideman, 92, of Gloversville, passed away early Monday morning, June 24, 2013, at his home, Lexington Mountain View No. 1 in Gloversville, following a wonderful life.
Born in New York City, N.Y. on August 30, 1921, he was the son of the late Irving and Rose (Wolfe) Heideman.
Jacob loved the outdoors and exploring new things. He made friends wherever he went. Jacob’s smile was one of a kind and he loved to laugh and share special moments with his friends.
Jacob will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love him.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Jacob is survived by his longtime caregiver, June Vrooman; and his lifelong friend and advocate, Fred Lamphear; and many other friends.
Friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev.
