Kate Ashley O’Gorman, the daughter of Karen O’Gorman of Pearl River, Rockland County, was united in marriage to Norman Anthony Duell, the son of Betty Ann and Norman Duell of Tribes Hill, on July 20, 2012.
The ceremony took place at the Franklin Plaza Ballroom, Troy, Rensselaer County. The bride is also the daughter of the late Dennis O’Gorman. The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Anthony and Nell DaBiere.
The maid of honor was Jessica Morris of Nyack, Rockland County. The bridal attendants were Nicole and Kristin Duell of Tribes Hill, sisters of the bridegroom; Kristine Flood and Megan Kreutzer, both of New Jersey; Sian McCloskey of Yonkers, Westchester County, Erin Jimenez of Suffern, Rockland County, all sisters of the bride; and Amanda Flood of New Jersey, niece of the bride. The flower girls were Katelyn Kreutzer, Hailey McCloskey, Madison Kreutzer and Sophie Jimenez, all nieces of the bride.
The best man was Michael Goode of Manhattan, Bronx County. The groomsmen were Christopher Cavallo of Florida, Vishal Phalgoo of Virginia and Alex Romero of Yonkers. The ringbearer was Braden Kreutzer, nephew of the bride.
A reception for 150 guests took place at the Franklin Plaza Ballroom.
A wedding trip took place at Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The couple resides in Albany.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Pearl River High School and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Siena College in 2008. She is employed as an accountant at Cascades, Waterford, Saratoga County.
The bridegroom, a 2004 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School, received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics fom Siena College in 2008 and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the College of Saint Rose. He is employed as a math teacher with the Albany Public School District.
