Wet weather wipes out Mohawks game

GLENS FALLS – For the third straight day, the Amsterdam Mohawks were unable to play Friday.

On Wednesday, a power outage halted their season opener at Albany in the eighth inning.

On Thursday, the Mohawks had their home opener against Utica stopped in the first inning by rain.

On Friday, Amsterdam had its game at Glens Falls washed out. The game was rescheduled for June 16 as part of a doubleheader.

Amsterdam is scheduled to host Adirondack today at 7 p.m.
