Lexington Run slated for Saturday

JOHNSTOWN – Lexington Family Services will host its ninth annual 5K run and 1-mile walk Saturday in Johnstown.

The event is a 2013 Fulmont Roadrunners Grand Prix Event.

The race begins and ends at Lexington, 465 N. Perry St. in Johnstown, with a 9 a.m. start time. Registration will begin at 7 a.m.

Awards will be presented to the top male and female overall finishers, and to the top three finishers, male and female, in each age group: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69 and 70 and over. Short-sleeve T-shirts will be provided to the first 150 paid registered runners or walkers.

The entry fee for runners and walkers is $15 prior to the event and $18 day of race.
