Man hit vehicle with sign: police

GLOVERSVILLE – A man was arrested Friday after he was striking his girlfriend’s vehicle with a city-owned parking sign, city police said.

Michael G. Rosario, 37, of 270 Bleecker St., was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Police said he was arrested after a family dispute. During the investigation, police said, Rosario was found to have an active bench warrant for failure to pay fine.

He was processed for both charges and arraigned in City Court.
