Thanks for food donations

The Gloversville Post Office employees would like to thank you again this year for your overwhelming support of the U.S. Postal Service National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive on May 11.

Due to your generosity, it was a huge success. Gloversville city and rural carriers collected 7,770 pounds of food – more than double what was collected last year.

Food collected allows for restocking of the Foothills United Methodist Church and Salvation Army food pantries. This food will help fight hunger in our local community, and your support is deeply appreciated.

Thank you again for your overwhelming response.
