H.S. Softball Roundup: FFCS edges Lansingburgh, 3-2

FONDA – Sam Hart had two singles and the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the seventh, lifting Fonda-Fultonville past Lansingburgh, 3-2, in a Colonial Council softball game Monday.

Hart also earned the win in the circle, striking out three and allowing three hits in seven innings of work.

Cassie Egelston, Courtney Putnam, Emily Parslow, Emily Frollo and Allyson Putnam each had singles for the Lady Braves (5-7 overall, 5-7 Colonial).

Gess Patregnani had two hits for Lansingburgh, while Lauren Nash added two RBIs.

Fonda-Fultonville is scheduled to host Schalmont on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

ALBANY – Michaela Puglisi finished with seven strikeouts on her way to a perfect game as Amsterdam blanked Bishop Maginn.

Ashley Pryzbylowicz had three singles for Amsterdam (6-7 overall, 4-5 Big 10), while Amber Richardson had a single and a triple.

Rebecca Gardenier added a single and a double for the Lady Rams, while Bayley Archinal had two singles. Amanda Bieniek added a double for Amsterdam.

Emma Gray had a home run and double for the Orange. She also earned the win in the circle, striking out nine and allowing seven hits in seven innings of work.

Bobbi-Jo Page had a triple, single and scored three runs for Wells (0-8 overall, 0-8 MVAC), while Brittany Woodward had a two-run home run. Sam Zemken had two singles for the Lady Indians, while Maigen Wilson and Kaeli Brenan each had a single.
