JHS girls lacrosse defeats Holy Names
ALBANY – Mikaela Etherton had four goals and an assist to lead Johnstown to a win over Holy Names in a non-league girls lacrosse game Monday.
Skylar Swatt added four goals for the Lady Bills, while Kendra McCoy had three goals and four assists. Emma Heroth finished with two goals and two assists for Johnstown (2-4 overall), while Sara Kosowicz had two goals. Emily Smrtic and Molly Morrison also scored for the Lady Bills.
Sally O’Toole had four goals and an assist for Holy Names, while Lisa Hladik had two goals and an assists. Sarah Hummel and Catie Vivian each had a goal and an assist for Holy Names, while Mary O’Toole and Nell Guarino also scored.
Alexis Livingstone made 11 saves for Johnstown.
On Friday, Johnstown lost 18-6 to Scotia-Glenville.
Heroth scored twice for Johnstown, while Smrtic had a goal and two assists. Swatt had a goal and an assist for the Lady Bills, while Kosowicz and Bridgia Valk also scored.
Cara Zanta and Maddy Carroll each scored five goals for Scotia-Glenville, while Katelyn Dwyer scored four goals.
