Johnstown supervisor charged with DWI

MAYFIELD – Johnstown 3rd Ward Supervisor Jack E. Callery was charged by state police at Mayfield on Thursday night in the town with four counts, three of which involved drinking and driving.

State police said Callery, 64, of 23 Cady St., Johnstown, was charged at 10:15 p.m. on Route 30 with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, driving with a 0.08 percent or higher blood-alcohol content – first offense, and aggravated DWI – no priors. He was issued appearance tickets for Town Court.

Callery didn’t return a phone call Friday seeking comment.
