Events planned at Gloversville library

GLOVERSVILLE -?The Gloversville Public Library has a number of events planned, including:

  • There will be a book discussion today at 6 p.m. in the reference room, a news release said.

Carol Cownie will lead a discussion of the book “Following Atticus” by Tom Ryan. Copies are available at the circulation desk for borrowing.

  • The library’s Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet today at 6:30 p.m. at library.
  • On Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Michael V. Daly, public service librarian at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, will present a class about iPads in the reading room.

Class size will be limited, a news release said. Some laptops will be available or people can bring their laptop or iPad.

  • The “Jolly Readers” at the Gloversville Public Library will hold its monthly book discussion Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon in the Reading Room.

Cownie will lead a discussion of the Gloversville Reads 2013 book “Following Atticus.” Copies are available at the circulation desk for borrowing.
