JHS girls lacrosse loses to South High

SOUTH GLENS FALLS – Lauren Vetter finished with four goals and an assist to lead the South Glens Falls girls lacrosse team to an 11-8 win over Johnstown on Wednesday.

Emily Vetter scored twice for the Bulldogs, Emily Leonard had a goal and three assists, and Katie Washburn had a goal and assist.

Kassondra Kreppein, Mykenzie Potter and Gabrielle Kreppein also scored for South Glens Falls (2-1 overall).

Mikaela Etherton scored five goals to lead Johnstown (1-1 overall), while Skylar Swatt had a goal and an assist. Sara Kosowicz and Molly Morrison also scored for the Lady Bills, while Emily Smrtic and Morgan Coons each had an assist.

Shelby West made seven saves for South Glens Falls, while Alexis Livingstone had 13 stops for Johnstown.
