Foundation donates to Elwood Museum

AMSTERDAM – The Walter Elwood Museum announced it has received a $1,000 grant from Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation.

The grant, received Feb. 6, will allow an expansion of the museum’s new Children’s Interactive Learning Center, according to a news release. The museum recently moved to its new location at 100 Church St., a former Noteworthy building.

“We are grateful Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation values vital not-for-profit organizations that preserve our history and strive to educate the public like the Walter Elwood Museum,” Executive Director Ann Peconie said in the release.
