Littauer workers drop weight
GLOVERSVILLE – Nathan Littauer Hospital employees recently completed an eight-week weight-loss competition.
More than 88 people started and 48 people weighed in on the final day last week.
The friendly competition – aimed at getting fit for spring – was based on total body weight percentages, a news release said.
The total weight loss was 346 pounds.
The results of the weight-loss competition are as follows:
– Overall “biggest loser”: first place, Dr. Peter Dowling; second place, Bruce Jones; and third place, Veronica Thomas
– Top three males: first place, Dr. Peter Dowling; second place, Bruce Jones; and third place, Chris Hughes.
– Top three females: first place, Veronica Thomas; second place, Carol Silveira; and third place, Rachel Johnson.
