H.S. Volleyball Roundup: Dolgeville tops Little Falls

DOLGEVILLE – Ashley Mettler finished with 14 kills, 10 digs, seven assists and three aces for Dolgeville in a 3-1 over Little Falls in Center State Conference volleyball match Tuesday.

The Blue Devils won by scores of 21-25, 25-9, 25-14 and 25-22.

Emily Young registered 12 kills and five digs for Dolgeville (11-5 overall, 8-0 CSC), while Chelsea Bennett posted nine digs and three aces.

Rachael Randall finished with five digs and three aces for the Blue Devils, Abby Mosenthin had three aces, three kills and two assists, Kiersten Manchester had seven digs and Mikey Rubas added four aces, three kills and three digs.

Tess Krowicki finished with six kills, five digs and four aces for Little Falls (5-10 overall, 3-4 CSC), while Kaleigh Warn posted eight kills and two aces.

Paige Horender recorded seven digs and three kills for the Mounties, Erin Noyes finished with 13 assists and and Diana Torres posted nine assists and two aces.

Liz Bruins added eight kills for Little Falls.

Remsen 3, St. Johnsville/Oppenheim-Ephratah 1

OPPENHEIM – Melanie Carlson finished with eight kills, seven aces and three digs to lead Remsen to a win over St. Johnsville/Oppenheim-Ephratah.

Remsen won by scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-18 and 25-18.

Hailey Paddock registered five kills and four aces for Remsen, while Megan Will posted eight digs, seven aces and six kills.

Ida Peltari added 18 assists and two digs for the Lady Rams.

Leann Knapp finished with 10 digs, three blocks and three kills to lead St. Johnsville/Oppenheim-Ephratah (5-10 overall, 2-6 CSC), while Alyssa Swartz posted six digs and two kills.

Ashley Hill registered five digs, five assists and two aces for St. JOE, and Katie Pabis added five digs and two aces.
