Katrisha Sherwood, the daughter of Robert and Kandy Sherwood of Fonda, was united in marriage to Kirk Becker, the son of Gary and Cindy Becker of Fonda and Anna Becker of Gloversville, at 1 p.m. July 21, 2012.

The ceremony took place at the Liberty Ridge Farm, Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County. Bishop Joe Sagarese officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Katie Jepson, sister of the bridegroom. The bridal attendants were Samantha Sanges of Gloversville, Caitlyn Breuer of Chestertown, Warren County, and Casey Hitchcock of Columbus, Ohio. The flower girl was Chloe Jepson, niece of the bridegroom. The junior bridesmaids were Lilliana Sherwood, cousin of the bride; and Autumn and Hope Becker, both nieces of the bridegroom.

The best man was Christopher Smith of Albany. The groomsmen were Tyler Sherwood of Fonda, Brian Page of Albany, and Keawe Eaton of Johnstown. The ringbearer was Gregory Jepson, nephew of bridegroom. The junior groomsmen were Thomas and Zachary Becker, both nephews of the bridegroom.

A reception for 120 guests took place in the Gifford Barn at Liberty Ridge Farm immediately after the ceremony.

The wedding trip took place in Key West, Fla. The couple resides in Guilderland, Albany County.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School and is attending Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School and a 2011 graduate of the State University of New York Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is working toward a master’s degree in computer science at the College of St. Rose and is a software engineer for Major League Gaming, Troy, Rensselaer County.
