Thanks for response to Mayfield fire

On Dec. 8 at approximately 3 a.m., a 911 call was made advising a structure fire at our home. The Mayfield Fire Department responded, and on arrival, noticed two cars, the garage and the apartment above the garage fully involved, and fire had spread to the house. Mutual aid was received from Broadalbin and Pleasant Square fire departments. While the loss was substantial, these fire departments saved our house. The Ambulance Service of Fulton County was on scene giving oxygen to our five cats. A big thank you goes out to all responding units.

I would like to thank every employee at the Fulton County YMCA along with students and their parents for the food, clothing, monetary donations and gift cards, dishes and cards.

I also need to thank the following: Herba Nissan, Herba’s Acres Tree Farm, Hart’s Towing, Edinburg Fire Company, Northville Firefighters Association, Northampton Ambulance Service, Mayfield village road crew, Mayfield Presbyterian Church, and Nanny and Pops Cafe in Mayfield.

Last, but not least, thanks to our neighbors in Mayfield. If anyone was left out, then I am truly sorry. Once again, thank you.
