Girls Basketball Roundup: Lady Bills earn first league win

SCOTIA – Courtney Cirillo finished with 14 points, leading Johnstown to a 44-40 win over Scotia-Glenville in a Foothills Council girls basketball game Monday.

The win was the first Foothills victory of the season for the Lady Bills, who outscored the Lady Tartans 25-18 in the second half to overcome a 22-19 halftime deficit.

Alexis Swatt scored eight points for Johnstown (4-6 overall, 1-5 Foothills).

Katelyn Dwyer scored 12 points to lead Scotia-Glenville (5-5 overall, 4-2 Foothills), while Nicole Conley added 10 points.
