Tower tenants change bingo night
GLOVERSVILLE – The Kingsboro Towers Tenants Association met Monday. The meeting opened with the new officers taking the oath of office led by the outgoing president, Betty Gugenberger. The Pledge of Allegiance and “The Lord’s Prayer” were led by Art Byrne.
The reports of the last meeting were read by Felicia Fisher, secretary. Bernie Manzer read the treasurer’s report. Both reports were accepted as read.
John Winn read the sunshine report. He was asked, and he agreed, to continue doing the report.
The bingo night will be changed to Thursday at 6 p.m. The volunteers to call bingo are Betty Tretola, Fred Haviland, John Winn, and Bill Briggs. Joan Gannon will help with tickets. More volunteers are still needed. The penny bingo will be Thursday at 1 p.m. with Tretola.
Virginia Johnson asked to reserve the community room for Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. for Charlie and Co. to entertain.
The 50-50 was drawn by Audrey Frohn and Roberta Nellis. The winners were Rose Easterly, Elle Burchill, Lea Houserman, Marilyn Manzer and Gannon.
The meeting adjourned. Cake and coffee were served.
